About Ron
Ron Marshall trained as a television director at the BBC in London, and has worked in news, current affairs and sport. Programme subjects have included such varied topics as child adoption, the Food Olympics in Frankfurt, RAF fighter pilots at Leuchars in Fife and the oil industry in Orkney. As an amateur filmmaker he won a "British Eight of the Year" award documenting a day in the life of a Glasgow schoolboy.
He's now turned his expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to one of the biggest days in a couple's life. A documentary-style wedding reflects the entire day's happenings, such as early separate chats with the soon-to-be bride and groom (and mums and dads if they fancy it), the bride's final preparations with the bridesmaids, guests arriving, the ceremony, signing the register, the photocall, reception, cake cutting, speeches and first few dances.
